Who will be my child's instructor?
For classes at the Rec Center Chrissy will the the only instructor.

For summer lessons: During the first week of classes we have skill tests to place children into groups with an instructor. We have 3 instructors per class, meaning we have one instructor for every four children. We cannot tell you who your exact instructor will be until that first week. You can trust us to put your child in the appropriate group with the best instructor for their skill level.

COVID Policy

Do not bring your child to class if they have a runny nose or are not feeling well. If the instructor notices a student with a runny nose, sniffles, coughing or seeming to be sick in any way, the instructor will ask the student not to participate in the lesson. We are trying to keep ourselves and other students healthy from any and all viruses and colds that are contagious.

Cancellation Policy

There is no cancellation policy for group lessons. For private lessons, our cancellation policy is 48 hours. If you contact us to cancel us after that, the cost is $65 / lesson.

Weather Policy

Thunder and Lighting are the only weather related circumstances for canceling lessons. If weather is a concern, we cannot determine the if the lesson will happen until the time of the lesson due to the variability of weather in this area.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to lessons. Being on time is essential because lessons are only 30 minutes long.
  • It is your responsibility to bring your child directly to his or her instructor.
  • If your child has long hair (girls AND boys!) it needs to be tied back or in a swim cap so that it does not interfere with learning (please clip back bangs as well).
  • Please maintain proper hygiene for lessons! Blow noses upon arrival if necessary.
  • Put on a swim diaper if your child is not potty trained.
  • Go to the restroom before lessons begin.
  • Please bring water and do not let your child soak in the hot springs before their lesson. If they spend too much consecutive time in the springs they could get groggy or hot.
